These terms and conditions govern your participation in the SHAX Christmas Raffle. Please read them carefully before purchasing tickets. By purchasing tickets, you agree to be bound by these terms.
You must be 18 years of age or older to purchase raffle tickets. We reserve the right to request proof of age.
This raffle is open to residents of the United Kingdom only. We cannot accept entries from outside the UK.
There is no limit to the number of tickets you may purchase.
Ticket sales close on 17th December 2025. No tickets will be sold after this date.
All payments must be made in full at the time of purchase using our secure online payment system. We accept major credit and debit cards.

In the unlikely event that a prize becomes unavailable, we reserve the right to substitute it with a prize of equal or greater value.
All prize descriptions are provided by donors. SHAX makes every effort to ensure accuracy but cannot guarantee the exact specifications of donated items.
SHAX is the registered charity (Scottish Charity No. SC042940) operating this raffle. All net proceeds from ticket sales will be used entirely for SHAX's charitable purposes.
After covering necessary operational expenses (such as payment processing fees and website costs), 100% of the remaining proceeds will directly support SHAX's charitable work:
All prizes are generously donated by local businesses and individuals. There are no prize costs deducted from ticket sales, meaning maximum funds go directly to our charitable work.
We are committed to transparency in our fundraising. Financial information about our raffle proceeds and charitable expenditure is available upon request and will be included in our annual charity reports.
Winners will be contacted within 48 hours of the draw using the contact details provided during ticket purchase.
Prizes must be claimed within 30 days of notification. Unclaimed prizes will be redrawn or donated to charity.
Prizes will be available for collection or delivery on 19th December 2025. Prizes can be collected from our office or delivered locally by arrangement. Postage costs for delivery outside our local area will be the responsibility of the winner.
Winners may be required to provide proof of identity and ticket purchase before claiming their prize.
Once tickets are purchased, refunds are only available in the following circumstances:
Refund requests must be made within 7 days of purchase and will be processed within 14 days. Refunds will be made to the original payment method.
In the event of circumstances beyond our control, we reserve the right to postpone or cancel the raffle. In such cases, full refunds will be provided.
We collect and process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and GDPR requirements. Your information will be used solely for the purpose of administering the raffle.
We will not share your personal information with third parties except as required for prize delivery or legal compliance.
Personal information will be retained for a maximum of 7 years as required by gambling regulations, after which it will be securely deleted.

If you have a complaint about the raffle, please contact us in writing within 30 days of the issue arising. We will investigate and respond within 14 days.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may refer the matter to the local authority's licensing department or the Gambling Commission.
These terms are governed by English law. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
